Location
The Common Man is located on German Flats Road between Sugarbush's two mountains, Lincoln Peak and Mount Ellen, in the Mad River Valley of north central Vermont.

From the North, take exit 10 from I-89, heading south on Rt. 100. Take a right at the end of the ramp, an immediate left, pass through Waterbury, and then a right to stay on Rt. 100 south. From this point, travel 7 miles to a stop, and make another right turn following Rt. 100 south. Travel 4 miles through Waitsfield and curve left passing the intersection of Rt. 17. Travel another 3.3 miles on Rt. 100 south and take a right onto the Sugarbush Access Road. Travel 2 miles up the Access Road and take a right on German Flats Road just after the Sugarbush Inn. One-third of a mile on the right is The Common Man Restaurant. |
From the South, take exit 9 from I-89 towards Waitsfield and Warren. Take a left at the end of the ramp, another left onto Rt. 2 east, and in 0.4 miles, a right onto Rt. 100B. Follow this 12 miles (at the 8 mile mark, Rt. 100 joins this road) through Waitsfield and curve left passing the intersection of Rt. 17. Travel another 3.3 miles on Rt. 100 south and take a right onto the Sugarbush Access Road. Travel 2 miles up the Access Road and take a right on German Flats Road just after the Sugarbush Inn. One-third of a mile on the right is The Common Man Restaurant. |
